MANN+HUMMEL’s Air Filtration Americas to Move to Distributor-Based Sales Model
Louisa, 7 March 2022 – MANN+HUMMEL’s Air Filtration Americas, a leader in indoor air filtration and home of leading brands of Tri-Dim, Tri-Dim Hardy and Pamlico Air, have announced they are embracing a new business model. The company is moving from a direct sales approach to a distributor-based model for all three of their North American air filtration brands. The purpose of this move is to continue the acceleration of MANN+HUMMEL’s growth potential, as the indoor air filtration market is one of the largest and fastest growing filtration segments.
“By joining forces with select distributors, we will cultivate those strong relationships, becoming a unified team to support the dynamic growth of indoor air filtration products in North America,” said Shawn Windley, President of MANN+HUMMEL Air Filtration Americas. “Tri-Dim, Tri-Dim Hardy and Pamlico Air have all been on an aggressive growth path, which we expect to continue well into the future, especially as the demand for indoor air filtration strengthens. Our customers can rest assured that this move will not have any impact on the superior service and technical support programs that we are recognized for throughout the industry.”
The move to a distributor-based model is currently under way, with the expectation to be complete in the near future. “We are very excited about the great potential of these solid partnerships and look forward to growth and success under his new business model,” continued Windley.
Two months ago, MANN+HUMMEL announced the full acquisition of Pamlico Air, a US manufacturer and provider of high-quality indoor air filtration products for mainly the retail and wholesale market, and the subsequent creation of MANN+HUMMEL Air Filtration Americas team. Since March 2021, MANN+HUMMEL had been holding a majority share in Pamlico Air.
