MANN+HUMMEL strengthens political work
Jan-Eric Raschke will in future be responsible for Public Affairs Europe
Ludwigsburg, January 20, 2022 - As of January 1, filter specialist MANN+HUMMEL has appointed Jan-Eric Raschke as Director Public Affairs Europe. In the newly created role, Raschke reports to Kathrin Sauter, Vice President Corporate Marketing & Communications. With this appointment, the family-owned company aims to set stronger political accents in the areas of cleaner mobility, cleaner air and cleaner water in the future.
Raschke, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration, has been with MANN+HUMMEL since 2012, most recently as Director Air Solution Systems. In his new role, he will work from Ludwigsburg and represent MANN+HUMMEL politically at the state level, in Berlin and in Brussels.
"Jan-Eric Raschke brings a deep understanding of our business and our company. He has shaped developments in the field of air filtration over the past years. We are pleased that he will bring his extensive filtration expertise and strong communication skills to represent our issues politically in the future," said Sauter.
"Global climate change, ongoing population growth and change in society and industry, as well as increasing awareness of the finite nature of resources are the key challenges of our time. As a medium-sized family-owned company, we are resolutely meeting these challenges with innovations and openness to technology. I look forward to entering into dialog with political decision-makers," says Raschke.
