Accelerating Transformation with appointing a Chief Performance Officer and a new Chief Procurement Officer

MANN+HUMMEL strengthens its transformation by appointing Hanno Höhn as Chief Performance Officer and naming Samuel Cochon as his successor for Chief Procurement Officer.

Ludwigsburg, August 13, 2024 – MANN+HUMMEL today announced changes to its executive leadership team to strengthen its transformation agenda and ensure robust strategy execution. Effective September 16th, Hanno Höhn transitions from his current position as Chief Procurement Officer to a newly created role of Chief Performance Officer. Succeeding Hanno Höhn, the globally active family-owned company welcomes Samuel Cochon as the new Chief Procurement Officer.

In his new capacity, Hanno Höhn will report directly to President and CEO Kurk Wilks while continuing his responsibilities as Managing Director of MANN+HUMMEL’s German entity. As Chief Performance Officer, Hanno Höhn will drive the ongoing development of governance frameworks, methodologies, and the deployment of the company’s strategic initiatives and organizational advancements. He will continue to steer the company’s Performance Office, a cross-functional global initiative where all strategic profitability improvement and transformation programs are consolidated.

Hanno Höhn joined MANN+HUMMEL in 2004 and held various management positions in Germany and the USA before assuming global responsibility for purchasing at the filtration expert in 2010. “I’m excited to become MANN+HUMMEL’s Chief Performance Officer at such a pivotal time. Our commitment to transformation is unwavering, and I’m passionate about driving our initiatives forward with our teams to ensure the achievement of our strategic goals and to stay focused”, Hanno Höhn said.

Samuel Cochon joins with extensive international Sales, Programs and Procurement experience, successfully acquired through senior management positions at several leading automotive companies. In his previous role, Samuel Cochon managed both direct and indirect purchasing and contributed to the enhancement of the global procurement performance.
